Grooming is important, but let’s be real, it can be quite inconvenient at times. At the very least it is a chore. The list of daily hygienical attentions only seems to grow longer as we age. You have to comb your hair, shave your face, clip your nails, buff your nails, floss, brush your teeth at the beginning of the day, brush your teeth again at the end of the day, shine your shoes, cleanse your pores, and press your shirts (and that’s just a few).
The worst part about a lot of these good grooming habits is that often times they are there to prevent bad things from happening to us. For example, if you don’t moisturize your skin regularly, you will eventually develop wrinkles or rough dry skin. The only way you know you’re doing things correctly is that things haven’t go ne wrong yet. This kind of set up can be frustrating because sometimes you aren’t sure you’re being effective. That is why you should eat certain foods to boost the effectiveness of your already healthy habits. This is especially the case in terms of brushing your teeth. Of course, you should brush your teeth daily, but now you can improve on the effectiveness of your brushing.
