5 Wonderful Remedies to Get Rid of Cracked Heels and Dry Feet in Under 1 Week!

Cracked and irritable feet can be irritating. Not only does it look unattractive, but it can feel awful even wearing shoes. If left untreated, cracked feet can even develop into serious health conditions. Below are 5 awesome home remedies for you to get rid of your cracked and dry feet in less than a week.

Lemon, salt, glycerin, rose water foot mask

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tbsps glycerin
  • 2 tsps rosewater
  • Warm water
  • Pumice stone/foot scrubber

Procedure

  • Add raw salt, eight to 10 drops of lemon juice, 1 tsp of rosewater and 1 tbsp of glycerin, to a basin full of warm water.
  • Soak your feet in the basin for about 15-20 minutes.
  • Scrub your heels and the sides of the feet with the pumice stone.
  • Mix 1 tsp of rosewater, 1 tsp of glycerin, and 1 tsp of lemon juice.
  • Apply the mixture to your cracked heels.

Note: Since this will be a sticky mixture, you can cover your feet with a pair of socks and leave the mixture on overnight.

  • Rinse off with lukewarm water in the morning.

Vegetable oil cracked heels remedy

Ingredients

  • 2 tsps vegetable oil

Procedure

  1. Wash your feet.
  2. Dry your feet off completely using a clean towel.
  3. Apply a layer of vegetable oil to the cracked parts of your feet.
  4. Cover your feet with a pair of thick socks and leave oil on overnight.
  5. Rinse your feet in the morning.

Banana or banana and avocado foot mask

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 avocado

Procedure

  1. Blend the ripe banana and avocado together into a paste.
  2. Apply the paste to your heels and feet.
  3. Keep it on for 15-20 minutes and then rinse off your feet with lukewarm water.

Vaseline and lemon juice remedy for cracked heels

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Vaseline
  • 4 to 5 drops lemon juice
  • Warm water

Procedure

  1. Soak your feet in warm water for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Rinse and pat dry.
  3. Mix the lemon juice and Vaseline together.
  4. Rub this mixture over the cracked parts of the feet till it is absorbed into the skin.
  5. Cover your feet with socks and leave in overnight.
  6. Rinse off your feet in the morning.

Honey for cracked heels

Ingredients

  • 1 cup honey
  • Warm water
  • Pumice stone

Procedure

  1. Mix honey with a bucket of warm water.
  2. Soak your feet in the water for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Scrub off gently with a pumice stone.
