Greasing the grill

It’s just not the marinated chicken and the right heat, your grill must be prepared ahead too. Usually, the marinated chicken will not stick to the grill as the skinned meat. However, depending on the grill type the outer layer of your chicken might get stuck. To avoid that, you can spray the grill rack with a nonstick cooking spray or oil.

Adding BBQ sauce

A golden-brown chicken piece with sweet, tangy taste is possible when you use BBQ sauce. Most people add seasoning and sauce almost immediately. Doing so will look the grilled chicken prepared because of its caramelized look, but the insides will be undercooked. You can add the sauce two minutes before removing the chicken from the grill.

Cutting in the right size

If you want your grilled chicken to be cooked evenly, cut all the pieces in the same size. Having a uniformly cut piece will make sure the chicken cooks at the same time.
