Ingredients

3 cloves garlic- peeled and sliced

1/8 tsp pepper- black and grinded

salt to taste

2 cup lemon juice

1 cup oil- canola

1 lettuce- large, rinsed, dried, and sliced

1-pint tomato- cherry and halved

1 onion- red and sliced

4 oz cheese- crumbled

How To Make Salata

  • Crush in a mortar and pestle garlic, pepper, salt for 5 minutes for the mixture to form a thick paste. Move paste to a jar and add lemon juice and the canola oil.
  • Toss lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, in a bowl and use it to dress the paste.
  • Serve at once.

Trivia
