cup sugar: 1

Eggs: 3

baking powder: 3 tsp

vegetable oil: 1 cup

confectionary sugar: 4 cups

How To Make Italian Cookies

For the Cookies

  1. Take a deep bowl. Pour all-purpose flour into it. Add milk, sugar, eggs, baking soda and vegetable oil into it and knead it into dough.
  2. Keep some flour at hand to make golf ball sized partitions of the dough. Make as many balls as you can. At least 12 balls can be made out of this dough.
  3. Roll them with your hands in the shape of a snake. Then place each of those on the baking sheet in a spiral in such a way that one end of the spiral is at the bottom while the other is on the top and in the centre of the cookie.
  4. Bake it in a pre-heated oven at 425 degree Fahrenheit.
  5. Once the cookies are baked, place them on a smooth platform to cool down.
  6. You can begin working on the frosting of the cookies when they have cooled down properly.

For Frosting

  1. Take the confectionary sugar and mix it up with anisette syrup in a bowl.
  2. Take each cookie and dip the top of it into the bowl. Turn it over carefully so the frosting does not trickle down to the bottom of the cookie too much. Place the dipped cookie in a separate dish for the topping to dry out.
  3. While on the separate dish, sprinkle the cookie with rainbow sprinkles.
  4. Enjoy them after dinner with your friends and family.
