Ingredients

cups of brown sugar: 2

cup of vegetable oil: 1

cup of molasses: 1/4

Large eggs: 3

teaspoon of salt: 1 1/4

teaspoon of baking soda: 1

teaspoon of ground cinnamon: 1 1/2

teaspoon of ground cloves: 3/4

teaspoon of ground ginger: 1 1/2

teaspoon of ground allspice: 1/4

firm D’Anjou pears, finely sliced: 4

cups of all-purpose flour: 3

How To Make D’Anjou Pear Bread

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In addition, liberally grease two large loaf pans. It is important to know that the longer the pear slices are, the most the loaves will be prone to sticking to the pan and they will fall apart, which is why you need to grease properly.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the brown sugar, vegetable oil, molasses, and eggs. Add salt, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and allspice and mix it well. Now you can add the pear slices and make sure they are coated evenly.
  3. Once you have coated them equally, you can stir in the flour and then pour the batter into the prepared loaf pans.
  4. Let it bake for 50 to 65 minutes. Let the loaves cool in their pans for 10 minutes before taking them out. Take the loaves out and let them cool on a wire rack.
