Ingredients

Corn flour: 1tbsp

Potatoes: 250 g

spring onion – finely chopped: 1

vinegar: 1 tbsp

tomato ketchup: 1 tbsp

Butter: 1 tsp

salt: 1 pinch

green chilli – finely chopped: 2

garlic flakes – finely chopped: 1 tbsp

soy sauce: 2 tbsp

black pepper - powdered: 1 pinch

edible food color: ¼ tsp

How To Make Chilli Garlic Potatoes

  1. Wash the potatoes.
  2. Peel and cut into fingers.
  3. Cover and heat in the microwave for 8 minutes at 100% power.
  4. Set aside to cool.
  5. Microwave oil or butter for 30 seconds at 100% power.
  6. Add the chopped onion, green chillis, and garlic.
  7. Microwave for another 2 minutes at 100% power.
  8. Add the steamed potatoes to it and mix well.
  9. Add cornflour (that’s been mixed in ½ cup of cold water), tomato sauce, soya sauce, edible food color (preferably red-colored), vinegar, pepper, and salt to the potatoes.
  10. Cover and microwave at 100% power for another 3 to 4 minutes.
  11. Don’t forget to occasionally stir the mixture
