Chana Powder

Chana powder

Chana powder is made from chickpeas, a type of legume. It makes for a wonderful addition in any curry recipe. This powder adds nutritional value to any dish; it is essentially a highly concentrated superfood, so it’s packed with nutrients. Use it as a post workout supplement, or as an energy booster. Regardless of how you choose to use it, you will undoubtedly enjoy the taste.

Health Benefits

As mentioned previously, the main ingredient in Chana powder are chickpeas. Chickpeas are one of the best and easiest available superfoods. They offer a wide range of nutrients in abundance like, vitamins A, C, D, B-12, B-6, iron, calcium, and magnesium. The most important nutrient it offers though, is protein. The protein levels in chana are generally higher than those found in equal servings of meat. This helps the body improve recovery times for fatigue, muscle strain, and illness. The low amount of fat present helps lower cholesterol and improves heart health.
