Trivia

The coconut palm in Sanskrit is called ‘Kalpa Vriksha’ which means the tree that gives all that is necessary for living. All parts of the plant are immensely useful. Coconut is believed to be a prehistoric plant. The coconut tree belongs to the palm family. The coconut tree can be both tall and dwarf. Except that the dwarf trees are 20 to 60 feet in height! Because of their water resistance, coconuts can stay afloat over the ocean. Interestingly enough, the Japanese used coconuts filled with grenades in World War 2. These coconut grenades were thrown at the enemy.

You can actually enhance the taste of coconut water by freezing it! Freeze it in the form of ice cubes and add it to your favorite drinks— this way, your drinks are loaded with the goodness of coconut!
